Society of Petroleum Engineers website
SPE Java Section
Designed and developed the SPE Java Section site entirely in Framer — blog, events, and a handoff the team could run themselves.
Overview
The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Java Section needed a dedicated site for Java, Indonesia — a place to share the latest section news, articles, and events. The personal bar was higher: make a regional SPE site that actually stands out among other section websites.
Approach
The site was designed and developed exclusively in Framer — no parallel design tool, no separate CMS handoff path. That kept design and production in one environment and made iteration fast.
Over about two months (Sep–Oct 2024) I built the structure, visual system, blog, and events surfaces. Framer’s publishing model meant the SPE Java team could post new events and articles on their own after a short handoff — days, not weeks.

Outcome
An interactive, on-brand section website the team can operate independently, with a clearer presence than a generic template SPE page.
