Storytelling Book Summary App

Sumstory · Maleo Agency

A book-summary product shaped around visual storytelling, pairing an expressive reading interface with small interactions that keep the experience moving.

Overview

Sumstory was a project I worked on while at Maleo Agency. The product turns book summaries into a more visual, story-led reading experience rather than presenting them as long blocks of condensed text.

My focus was the interface and interaction layer: giving each beat enough space, establishing a clear reading rhythm, and using motion to make progress through a summary feel natural.

The controls were designed to feel like part of the storytelling rather than browser chrome. Button states, transitions, and pacing help the reader understand when to continue without competing with the content.

The result is a compact product concept where interface motion supports the central idea: summaries should feel told, not merely shortened.
